The wolf moon blesses us with its magic the first night of 2018. It’s a rare opportunity that the full moon of the lunar calendar syncs with our 12-month calendar.
Skiing amid lanky wind-blown conifers, blue skies and tunnels of snow, my fears, thoughts questioning my sanity and concentration on a shaky ski technique faded. I stopped, looked up in the horizon out into the snow-capped peaks and felt completely and totally at peace.

The very nature of nature is grounding. There is an inherent challenge that forces us to be present. We’re stripped from the illusions of our limitations and ultimately reacquainted with the intuitive nature of our being. Our wildish self.
